Olivia Wilde, Dr Hadley (aka 13) in House MD
Olivia Wilde was born Olivia Jane Cockburn (pronounced “coburn”) on March 10, 1984 in New York City. She is the daughter of journalist parents Andrew and Leslie Cockburn and the granddaughter of writer James Helvick. Growing up in Washington DC, she attended school at Georgetown Day School. Olivia left Georgetown to go to Phillips Academy in Massachussetts, where Olivia was an enthusiastic (and sometimes wild!) contributor to school drama productions.
After leaving college, Olivia moved to Los Angeles. She got an internship job as a casting director for the movie The Girl Next Door, which stared Elisha Cuthert. She even succeeded in playing a small part in the movie. Olivia also appeared in the movies Alpha Dog and Turistas. On TV, Olivia secured regular roles in the short-lived shows Skins and The Black Donnellys. Next came Olivia’s breakthrough performance, playing the part of Alex Kelly,the character who had a salacious bisexual relationship with Marissa (Mischa Barton) in The O.C..
In 2007, Olivia won the part of Dr Hadley in the FOX drama series House MD. To begin with, she was one of a number of doctors competing to joins House’s diagnostic team (after the departure of Foreman, Cameron and Chase). Her competition number was 13 (typically House bizarrely gave the competitors numbers), and this became her nickname. Her acting skills have improved from episode-to-episode -undoubtedly a part of Hugh Laurie’s stellar perfomance has rubbed off on her.
Olivia married Tao Ruspoli, a documentary filmmaker, photographer and flamenco guitar player on June 7, 2003. They reside in Venice, Los Angeles, California.

I can’t stand her character on HOUSE. She is SO BORING as 13.

It looks like you’ve got your wish as 13 now seems to be history. But will she return? Also, there are rumours on the net that Cameron is in for a fast exit – now that would be a pity.
