Isabeli was born and grew up in Brazil, in the small town of Curitiba, with her mother, father and two brothers. At the young age of 12, Isabeli announced to the world her ambition to be a model, and a year later persuaded her mom to allow her to enter the 1996 São Paulo modelling competition. Isabeli didn’t win, but she made the finals. Her fresh, natural look was noticed by an agent, and a year later, when just 14, Isabeli found herself on a plane to Milan to start her modelling career.
Just 2 years into her new life in Italy, Isabeli was amazed to find that she was wanted for the 1999 Victoria’s Secret lingerie catalog. It caused quite a fuss at the time, because it was the first occasion on which VS has employed models under 18 for a magazine shoot.
Now in hot demand with fashion designers the world over, Isabelli has strutted the catwalk in Paris, New York, London and Milan for many top fashion brands, including Bebe, Ralph Lauren, Versace, and Valentino (to name a few of many). She also regularly appears in top fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Isabeli is now the proud mom of 2 kids, but still finds time in her busy life to continue with her modelling work.
